Eiffage Immobilier and Icade named winners of two lots in the call for projects

The Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolitan Area has just awarded Eiffage Immobilier and Icade Promotion the construction of two major projects in the Toulon harbour.
This call for projects is part of a vast urban and landscape requalification operation covering a 44-hectare area within the Toulon harbour, between Mayol Stadium and Pipady beach.

Within this framework, the consortium formed by Eiffage Immobilier and Icade Promotion, accompanied by Eiffage Aménagement and Synergies Urbaines by Icade, was selected as the winner for two lots:
Lot 1 "Toulon Port 3.0", the former DCNS site, with the project "Les Promenades de la rade":
In partnership with the Banque des Territoires - which will act as a co-investor - the consortium is proposing a new urban complex on a site of more than 3 hectares, opening up the city to the harbour, which will develop 59,000 sqm of buildings and include a wide range of uses.
This district open to the sea is designed by the agencies Snøhetta, Corinne Vezzoni & associés and HYL.
In response to the environmental ambitions of the Toulon Provence Méditerranée metropolitan area, this project, which is intended to be exemplary, will reflect the low-carbon strategies of the Eiffage and Icade groups, for a more sustainable, sober and resilient city.

Lot 2 "Pipady, former mole of the Torpilles", with the project "Le Casabianca":
Designed by the agencies Major architecture and HYL, the operation of requalification of this iconic building - symbol of the entrance to the Toulon harbour - has the ambition to transform this former military site into a place of conviviality open to the public all year round.

Supported by local investors, this project has been designed to preserve the heritage and marine biodiversity; it will also achieve a high level of environmental sobriety, aiming for self-consumption in summer.

Construction work on the two lots is scheduled to start in 2024.
