Pyramides d'Argent: 6 winning Eiffage Immobilier projects in Hauts-de-France, Normandy, Brittany and Pays de la Loire

The Pyramides d'Argent 2020 award ceremonies have not yet taken place in all regions of France, but our teams have already won 6 Awards! Our Revd'O real estate operations in Valenciennes, Orange's regional headquarters in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Window offices in Rennes, Villa Thorigny in Mont-Saint-Aignan, Loire en Scène and Forge Ranzay in Nantes have all received a Pyramide d'Argent 2020 in different categories.

Presented in November and December, the trophies awarded by the FPI Hauts-de-France, FPI Normandie, FPI Bretagne and FPI Pays de la Loire are magnificent rewards for the work of our teams in the regions, especially as they underline our expertise and commitments at Eiffage Immobilier: virtuous construction, digital innovation, works management, urban mix and commercial property.

Revd'O, a 78-apartment property programme built by Eiffage Construction, was nominated in the " Low-carbon building " category. Located in a new district that is exemplary in terms of carbon emissions, Revd'O is located on Île Folien, a former industrial site immediately adjacent to Valenciennes city centre. The residence is part of a sustainable development approach with the use of geothermal energy and its numerous environmental certifications: it will meet the requirements of the E2C2 label, the "NF HABITAT High Environmental Quality" label and RT2012 (-13%). More information on the operation.

Our work on Orange's regional headquarters in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, which can accommodate up to 1,200 workstations, won in the "BIM and Data Strategy" category. This operation, carried out in synergy with the teams at Eiffage Construction, Eiffage Immobilier, Eiffage Concessions and Eiffage Energie Systèmes, won the call for projects in 2012 by proposing a building entirely designed using BIM (Building Information Modeling). In addition to being daring and innovative, this proposal enabled the project to obtain NF HQE New Tertiary Buildings certification, with the Effinergie Plus label, and thus to be part of Eiffage Group's overall environmental approach. More information on the operation.

These two Pyramides d'Argent awards won last week are complemented by four other trophies awarded by the FPI Normandie, FPI Bretagne and FPI Pays de la Loire a few weeks ago.

Also in the "BIM & Data Strategy" category, it was the Window operation in Rennes that was nominated in Brittany. Signed in the spring of 2020, this tertiary sector complex of over 5,000sqm designed by Maurer and Gilbert Architects, was 100% completed using BIM (Building Information Modeling). The ambition of the project is also environmental, with a programme certified BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) Construction level Very Good, and meeting the technical standard RT 2012, attesting to high environmental and energy performance. More information on the operation.

In Normandy, another operation has been rewarded! This time nominated in the "Responsible Operations" category, the Villa Thorigny programme is a NF Habitat-certified collective housing project designed in conjunction with the local architectural firm Ulysses. 37 flats make up the nearly 3,000sqm of this project located in one of the most highly rated and dynamic towns in the Rouen metropolitan area: Mont-Saint-Aignan.

Finally, in Pays de la Loire, 2 Prizes were won :

  • The Urban Mixing Prize was awarded to the Loire en Scène operation, which brings together freehold housing, social housing, a commercial base and a theatre, in 2 buildings with urban and contemporary architecture, quality services and an ambitious environmental approach, as evidenced by the NF Habitat certification.
  • The Commercial Property Prize goes to La Forge-Ranzay. This tertiary sector complex consists of the renovation of two industrial halls - benefiting from an exceptionally fine concrete framework and large glass roofs -, and a new extension that follows the architectural codes of the old building with its remarkable heritage. The project meets the requirements for BREEAM VERY GOOD certification and the general presence of green roofs.

Congratulations to Eiffage Immobilier's regional teams and all our partners for these operations! Thanks also to the French Federation of Property Developers in Pays de la Loire, Normandy, Hauts-de-France and Brittany for awarding us these prestigious prizes.
